still the best song you two have made imo :)

so basically this song is amazing.

the opening chorus vocals with the acoustic guitar really imbue the song with grandeur immediately, especially the mini modulation that comes in near the end. it's a great intro, and it leads really well into the storybook instrumentals behind sai and phoebe's voices. overall, the first minute and a half of this song are excellent, but they still dont prepare you for what comes next.

and BAM! the song rockets off into a flawless and SOARING string passage in... 7/8?? but then every three measures it switches to 6/8 for a bar?? i dont know how it works but it's absolutely enchanting, and it really flings you into the world the song creates. (oh, and there's that modulation again! i wonder if it comes back again)

the vocal section after that is excellent as well, with the instruments and vocals bouncing off each other in passages of varying intensity in its first part, dramatic violins underscoring azure's incredibly powerful voice in its second.

the best part of the song, though, is its climax - started by freya and hikari taking the song "High up in the stratosphere!" as you're hit with key change after key change and some super dreamy instrumentation perfectly accompanying their vocals.

all of that flows seamlessly into a HEAVENLY performance by every vocalist in the song. the intensity builds and builds and builds, and suddenly, suddenly!!!

"And there's nothing left to do,
but sink to your knees...
and PRAY!"

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA the way this song hits its peak is gorgeous and exhilirating, and we're left with one final epilogue:

"...that the storm lets up,
And the wind dies down,
And the sun peeks out..."

my God this song takes you on such a magical journey, it feels like a disney classic condensed into the span of 5 minutes and i Love It.
